Not possible. There are no trains between Lithunania and Latvia. Alternatives (flix)buses from B-Südkreuz to Warschau and from there to Jelgava. Than train to Riga (45 min.)
Or ferry from Travemünde (Lübeck) to Liepaja (24 hours) and from there bus to Riga (4 to 5 hours).

Hi!

Why so many buses?
You can go all the way to Kaunas or Vilnius by train, the do the last leg to Riga by bus.
Alernatively you can go by ferry from Kiel to Klaipeda, then train Riga.

Berlin to Warsaw: book at bahn.de
Warsaw to Kaunas or Vilnius: book at intercity.pl
Kaunas or Vilnius to Riga: book at luxexpress.lu
Berlin to Kiel: book at bahn.de
Kiel to Klaipeda: book at dfds.com
Klaipeda to Riga: book at pv.lv

Flo is mostly right, but I can't find trains between klaipeda to Riga at pv.lv. Probably because Klaipeda is in Lithuania.

Oh sheesh, got things mixed up, sorry.

Check out Stena Line ferry from Travemünde to Liepaja instead, then train (or bus) to Riga.

seat61.com lists all overland routes from UK to all EUR countries-and the Baltics have all to pass B, so thats easy to hook on. Anyone with the slightest idea of how trains have to get organised knows that site.
But it must also be said that many railfans seem more out to bash on bus and are somehow trying to force anyone to sit in trains as long as can, even when that is far more cumbersome and time-eating as a direct bus would cost. From ZOB near the TV-tower in B you can get daily direct buses to Riga and all places along the road to there. There will even be more from WAW.

It has been asked for train connections, seems as you can't read.

Stop arguing, this was another post from someone who never came back to read any answers. You have to learn to spot those from people who think this site works like Alexa......
