I will be traveling from Munich to Prague on the Zapadni express. I have heard there are double decker cars on this train. Is this true ? If so, how can I reserve two first class seats ? I will be traveling in Mid May.
Also, does this train go directly from Munich to Prague, or do you have to change trains somewhere ? If I need to change trains, what city will I have to change ?

Hi!
Double decker coaches are only used on the German part of the route between München and Hof. The trains split in Schwandorf - one portion continues to Hof (including the double decker coach), one portion continues to Prague.
Seat reservation is not possible as far as I know/found out.

Also, I was told by Cd.cz that I can only reserve a seat from Schwandorf to Prague. not Munchen to Prague. Is that true ?
