Planning in doing an InterRail on July (next year) with a group of 6 people. Most guides I looked online recommended staying in a hostel for cheap prices then I decided to look hostels in Paris by the Hostelworld but the prices are a little salty. The chepeast I found was 18€ while if I stay in Formule 1, I pay 40€ for a room for 3 people, so 13,30€ for each person in 2 rooms... The hostels are nearer the city centre than F1s in most cities but the price is worth it? What would you recommend? How much is the average price for a bed in a 6-bed-dorm' on a hostel? And camping, anyone know how much you pay and what is charged (nr people; nr tents; space)? :)

Hi.
Paris is a bit special. You won't find a lot of cheap hostels there.
So the option using a cheap hotel like the Formule 1, Etap or B&B hotels is often a good solution.
In Paris itself you can also find small normal hotels.
For hostel and prices check: [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux]

A good camp site is here: https://rail.cc/en/paris/campsite-bois-de-boulogne-paris/l874
