Hi everybody!
My friend and I are going to have a small trip in Europe. It may seem weird but we are not interesting in any sights etc, we want it just for trains' sake :) and view from the window is enough for the first time, despite winter and short daytime.
So route in the topic title shows only checkpoints of our trip, and the only stop after Helsinki shall be in Hamburg.
It shall cost us € 159 (youth IR Global Pass 5/10 days) + 7 (X2000 train 2nd class reservation) + 4.5 (ICE from Copenhagen to Hamburg 2nd class reservation) + 4.5 (ICE from Hamburg to Berlin, but do we really need it on the 7th January?) + 4 (Berlin-Warszawa express) = €179 per person.
Ferry from Turku to Stockholm and train from Warsaw further to east are not included there.
Am I right with my calculations?
And the main question are:
When do we get all of our reservations? Can we get them all already in Helsinki or we shall do them directly on the boarding stations?
Where does validity of IRGP end? Is it Terespol (as it's the last station of Europe) or is it Brest Central? If it is Terespol so how is it better for us to get in Brest?
Thank you in advance.

Hi.
Your calculation is correct. If you want, you can skip the reservation Copenhagen to Hamburg and as well Hamburg to Berlin - except if you travel this route in the evening, as Friday afternoon and evening is peak travel time. then a reservation is a must!
Book the X2000 online via: [ux]https://rail.shop/acprail/sj[/ux] or [ux]https://rail.shop/sj[/ux]
Fill in as departure station: Stockholm C
As destination: Köbenhavn H
The reservations for the German ICE trains (Copenhagen-Hamburg, Hamburg-Berlin) are available via [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
The supplement for the Berlin-Warsaw Express should be available in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Hamburg and definitely Berlin main station. You can't book it online.
Terespol is the border station - but it is only a really short jump to Brest. This ticket is available in Berlin and Warsaw main station.
General step by step guides for train reservations are here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
And if you want to support our work, buy your official InterRail pass directly in our partner at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - thank you! :)
Have fun on your trip, Peter :)

Thank you for response. Yes, I'd like to buy pass directly from your shop, but neither opera nor firefox browsers can't show the web-page correctly (I can't change the 1st day of use, for example).

Hi.
Thanks for the info - I am using as well Opera and Firefox and it works properly. Never heard of users having this problem - but forwarded it to the developers.

It's strange, but it works fine if I use German proxy. But I get an error:
InterRail Global Passes : Matching Products
No products are available for your specific request.
To correct this problem please do the following:
- Check if the traveling date you selected respects the pre-booking period.
- Put ANY in the fields Version and validity and search again.

I tried to put ANY in both fields but it's still the same, the date is 2011-01-03.
