I'm planning my first InterRail journey around Christmas (Dec 18--Jan 2nd ish). I'm planning on 2 wks around Germany, Poland, Austria etc. Thing is, most of the packing lists I've seen on the forum seem to be tailored to men and/or summer! I'm not a high-maintenance girl, am happy to do hand-washing in the sink, and won't be going out every night (but need something nice for Xmas day). I also like to travel pretty light (I have a 40+15 pack)...any advice/suggestions? Thanks.

not sure if these are a bit fashion/appearance conscious, but had some good tips, especially the second when it comes to how to pack:

from what i've heard hand sanitiser is a big must, as are baby wipes... as a girl i would definitely say hoodie and leggings for basic warmth... simple black dress that you can accessorise is a failsafe for nights out!
