Hello I'm new here. I still can't get this one straight. If I buy Interrail ticket for youth does that mean this: I travel where ever I want for 279 € (Let's say I want to travel around Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Czech Republic). Or are there any limitations? I do not come from any of those countries I'd like to travel to. All of the information is a bit weirdly written. I'd really like to have it answered plain and simple. Thanks

Hi.
InterRail first looks a bit complicate, but it is easy. :)
1) You can not travel for free in your country of residence:
https://rail.cc/en/how-to-interrail
2) You can use the trains of the national railway companies of the countries taking part on InterRail. See the list at the right top here:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail
3) On some trains you have to pay supplements:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
4) To avoid such trains, use our forum here, where you will find information about alternative routes. Just check the country topics:
https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
5) In the country topics you will find as well information about the different categories in night trains - you have to pay extra as well, depending on the category.
6) Here is a step by step guide:

The countries you selected are good for interrailing. Simply avoid the THALYS trains in Belgium and the Netherlands (see country topics here in the forum) and you should be able to have a cheap trip. :)
Where exactly is the 404 error... so I can modify and correct it. :?:
