Hi everybody,
first of all i hope my English isn`t to bad. I`ll try to write clearly.
Me and a Friend of mine are planing to go on a big Tour. It will be our first Interrailtravel. We are two guys from Germany and planed to go first to Amsterdam (by Bus probably) and start the Tour then from there. We planed to take one 10 of 22 ticket and a complete Month Ticket. We planed it trough but have no idea if it is realistic.
This is our planed route:
Amsterdam - (Brussels) - Paris - Bordeaux - Lisbon - Porto - Madrid - Gibralta - Barcelona - (by ship over to Italia and on to Greece, but with no specified cities or dates. We jut want a smooth end with no stress ;) )
Looks this realistic to the people of you who allready made a Tour? Do you have any tipps for us? Brussels is no need.
Thanks alot for the answers,
Dominic

Hi.
Definitely an interesting route - and easy to do within 6 weeks (or even more time you have).
Have a look at the country topics with information on how to save a little bit of money on high speed trains or information about night trains and connections.

Some examples...
Amsterdam-Paris: https://rail.cc/en/amsterdam-paris-train/f1472
Bordeaux-Lisbon: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/irun-lisbon-th-313/73
South of Portugal to Spain: https://rail.cc/en/portugal-spain-algarve-train-bus/f1435
Gibraltar by train: https://rail.cc/en/gibraltar-train-bus/f1327
On your way back from Greece think about stopping at least in Budapest and Krakow. To re-enter Germany, have a look at the Spar-Preise of Deutsche Bahn. You can get tickets starting from EUR 29.

Thanks, makes me feel better. We`ve been a bit worried about if we loaded up to much.
