Hi guys,
I am planning a trip to Finland-Norway-Sweden next summer. I have already tasted the flavour of an Interrail trip, so I would go for a global pass but.. I also love biking and I would like to mix bike and train travelling... bike would be great for many reasons (including savings on bus and subway tickets, freedom to move, etc..) is that possible? Is there a special ticket or fee to correspond?

Waiting to hear from you guys!

Hi.
Sad news: there is no special ticket available which allows to take your bike with you during an InterRail trip.
You will always have to check the different options of the railway companies.
In general: you will have to pay extra for a bike in a high-speed or long-distance train. In some of these trains it is even not allowed to take your bike with you.
The best option is to have a big bag with you in which you pack your bike with removed wheels, then it is no problem to have it with you.
Peter :)

At the websites of the national rail companies in each country you want to travel.

Sweden: sj.se
Finland: vr.fi
Norway: nsb.no
