Hi Vincent.

I am only specialist for InterRail, not for single rail tickets. Sorry. :o
The information given at this topic is the only one I have: https://rail.cc/en/bucharest-kiev-train/f2106

Maybe try the websites of the Bulgarian, Romanian or Russian rail companies....

Romania: cfr.ro
Russia: eng.rzd.ru/isvp/public/rzdeng?STRUCTURE_ID=4130
Bulgaria: bdz.bg

Peter :)

You should buy the Ukrainian e-ticket at http://www.e-kvytok.com.ua. Sadly it's not so user-friendly as Czech, German or Swedish e-tickets and you should learn Ukrainian a bit :os But it accepts European Visa/MC cards, unlike the Russian Railways website. At Ukrainian station counter you change the printed e-ticket to the real Ukrainian train ticket.
The price with sleeper supplement is around 300 UAH (=27 €). At Ukrainian station counter you should get slightly lower price (yes, all former Soviet railways have extra charge for e-tickets instead of discount :| ) I recommend to buy the ticket in advance, because former Soviet long-distance trains are often sold out a day or two before departure. However the trains between Ukraine and Europe aren't so overcrowded as domestic Ukrainian trains and trains from Ukraine to Russia.

Soviet sleeper trains provide generally three classes:
1. lyuksusniy - the most expensive, two beds in a coupé, not available at all trains (I think there's no direct lyuksusniy car from Kiev to Sofia)
2. kupeyniy - four beds in a coupé
see foto http://antonio.cz/marcosoto/pic.php?src=p7236528
3. platskartniy - the cheapest sleeper, with no separate coupés, six folding berths in a section, the bedclothes are available only for a supplement to ticket, but the supplement is very cheap.

Don't afraid to travel on Russian trains in winter - they are designed for Siberian winters and the heating is powerful and reliable 8)
