Does anybody know if theres a nighttrain from madrid to france, passing the west of the pyrenees, but not the expensive ellipso train?
Thank you for your answers.

Hi!
There is no Estrella night train from Madrid to Irun. The expensive train you mean is the Elipsos Madrid - Paris. :arr: https://rail.cc/en/madrid-paris-night-train/f1134
A cheaper overnight alternative is to take the Alvia from Madrid to Hendaye and change there to the french Lunéa night train to Paris. :arr: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/france/fr
Timings for this connection:
Madrid Chamartin 1615 - 2203 Hendaye
Hendaye 2218 - 0711 Paris Austerlitz
