Just wondered if its worth doing this. I'm obviously going to be booking a room for the city I fly into but I'm talking about later on.

I don't fancy turning up to places late at night say and not getting a room, is there much of a chance of this happening? Or is it pretty easy to just turn up at various places and get a room at this time of year?

At this time of the year it is much easier to get a room as peak season is over.
But I recommend you to book at least one night in advance online. Every hostel has Internet access - so it is easy to handle.
You can compare the hostels online by rankings and find out the different prices... check [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux]
At the same time you save a lot of time... just get out of the station and walk to your hostel ...
At least this is the way I do. :)

Bonjour

I have a question for our accomodation.Because we are not sure about where we stay .We have 2 options.
1. Rome 3 nights-Berlin 1 night
OR
2.Rome 2 nights-Berlin 2 nights....

What do you think that is 1 night enough for Berlin or 3 nights so much for Rome?????? :|

Actually, I think you would need more nights for both cities. Consider saving one of them for later. If you really want to visit them both, however, go for the 2-2 option. My reasoning is this: both 2 and 3 nights are actually too short for Rome, so there it does not matter very much; you can only see the top highlights anyway. On the other hand, you can't even squeeze only the top highlights of Berlin into a little over 24 hours, so the absolute minimum would be 2 nights.
