Hello
I would like to know if the restriction about the home country applies to the country where you buy the ticket, or to the passport you were born in.
In my case, I am travelling from Russia to Spain. When I enter Poland I want to buy the global pass and use it to go home, but I don't know if the country where I can't use it is Poland or Spain...

Thank you

Hi.

The country of residence is the country where you lived in the last 6 months or longer. You have to proof your residency by your IDcard or passport.
If you have a Spanish passport and lived the last six months or longer in Russia and you can proof this by a visa printed in your passport, you can buy a RUSSIAN InterRail Pass for a example in Poland and travel for free in Poland, all countries between Poland and Spain AND in Spain itself.

You only have to pay for the country which is your country of residence - it doesn't matters in which country you buy your InterRail ticket.

Peter :)
