Hello,
is the first time we decided to make a interrail and we are planning for the forthcoming summer. We would like to take the overall pass of 22 continuous days and wanted to help and opinion on the route that we are beginning to arise.
Our idea is to see a little of many cities not far from few. So, we prefer to spend 1 or 2 days per city and see the basics or take advantage of striking and attempting to pass step few more nights by train, the better (and save some in shelters).
We are aware that this is going to be much more tired, and perhaps take you less out of each city, but we believe that global and enjoy more of what the entire trip.
However, we want to hear opinions and see if it can be viable or not.
The itinerary would be:
DAY 1:
Train from Barcelona to Paris.
DAY 2:
See Paris.
Overnight train to Brussels.
DAY 3:
See Brussels.
Spend the night in Brussels.

Hi David and Ana!
Some important points first:
- Important read with all basic information: https://rail.cc/en/first-interrail-tour/f3303
- It's nice that you already have made up a plan for your travel, but: Check the schdules first - on many routes you've chosen there is no night train operating or only with bad timings (ie Paris - Bruxelles, Amsterdam - Hamburg, Hamburg - Kobenhavn, Roma - Monaco).
- Where are you from? Portugal or Spain I guess. ;) Remember that InterRail isnt valid in your country of residence - you only get a 50% discount from your hometown to the border and back.
OK, gotta go know, but I'm sure we will sort all problems out so that you can have a nice trip! :)

Thanks for your help :)
We will look better the night trains in order to have a better trip.
You're right, we are from A Coruña (Spain) and we already knew that we only have a 50% discount from Coruña to France.
Thanks again!
