Hi!

If you enter the 27th on your InterRail pass you can use unlimited number of journeys on that day from 0000 - 2359. :) Plus the 1900-rule which you are using for the Zagreb - Venice night train, in your case/with a flexi pass.

:!: If you want to take a fast train to Florence you will have to get an extra reservation for that - depending on train category this will be between 3€ and 10€. Or use a slower but free connection with regional trains.

Possible connections for the 27th:

Zagreb Gl Kol dep 2335
Venezia Mestre (leave here if you want to continue straight to Firenze) arr 0704
Venezia Santa Lucia (leave here if you want to have a quick look around the real Venice - Mestre is just a suburb on the mainland) arr 0716

Fast trains, 10€ reservation

Venezia Santa Lucia dep 0827 and then at the same time every hour
Venezia Mestre dep 0739 and then at the same time every hour
Firenze SMN arr 0930 and then at the same time every hour

Free connection with regional trains

Venezia Mestre dep 0734
Bologna Centrale arr 0936
Bologna Centrale dep 1009
Prato arr 1119
Prato dep 1130
Firenze SMN arr 1155

Direct IC connection, 3€ reservation, not compulsory but recommended

Venezia Santa Lucia dep 1307
Firenze Rifredi arr 1617

Other connections available with the schedule planner: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
