Hello, my friends, im travelling to Netherlands (Amsterdam), we will preparing a travel to participate in the next world scout jamboree, that will be held on Rinkaby, Sweden, and we are planning to travel a contingent of 30 persons. and we will like that before to go in Rinkaby, Sweden stay to days on Netherlands , two days on Germany, two days on Netherlands and then the last trip direct from Copenhagen to Rinkaby. The will be traveling from Amsterdam, because our plane comes to this city, then Germany-Denmark-Sweden

I guess its going to be a little tight.

My question is therefore:

1) What are the cities to visit, the city's most interesting, in this countries i mention?
2) What is the cost of the train, and how is the life in a train.
3) Ideally, I think sleeping on the night train, and the day to visit a city, etc., is that possible?
4) how much we will need of money? As I intend to travel the cheapest possible:)
5) Interested to know where can sleep in this countries and stay safe the suitcases.
Please the better information that you give to us we will be great, because we are planning to have a nice travel,
That tour we will be before the jamboree, then after the jamboree, we will take the plane from Copenhagen to return to Guatemala

Hi.

First thing... you can not travel by InterRail as you (or your group is not from Europe). You have to look at an Eurail ticket: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
About single train tickets I can not give you details - but as such a big group you should get discounts.
As well it will be a bit hard to get cabins in night trains if you do not reserve in advance.
In day trains it shouldn't be a too big problem.
As well for hostels I recommend to book in advance and ask for group discounts - this is definitely possible: [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux]

Think about a route like:

Amsterdam - Berlin - Hamburg - Copenhagen - Malmö - Rinkaby

Dear Peter,

Very thanks for your email, very apreciated,

If we can not travel by InterRail, did you have idea what is the cost of Eurail,
In your experience how can we have a tour in this countries (Nederland, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden, how are the distances by train, between each city, you said me Amsterdam- Berlin- Hamburg- Copenhagen- Malmo - Rinkaby.
How is the cost of the life, to eat, to paid a hostel and how about thing that we have to take care.
Plaese tellto us a little bit more about, we are interested in you experience, thanks a lot, from Guatemala,

Hi Enrique.

For details about the fares of Eurail check the links here. As there are different types of tickets available and I am only specialist for InterRail: https://rail.cc/en/eurail

For travel times, check the schedule planer: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
Here is a nice step by step guide, even traveling by Eurail it will help you: https://rail.cc/en/first-interrail-tour/f3303
As both tickets a nearly the same.

I recommend you to use day trains - as it will be hard to get beds for such a big group in one night train.
About accommodation use the link I gave you of Hostelworld.

Check the country topics where you will find helpful information about the city connections (additional to the route planer mentioned above): https://rail.cc/en/countries

Just as examples...

Amsterdam - Berlin by day train which are free of any supplements - you only need the Eurail ticket, that's it.
If traveling in such a big group, think about a reservation to sit together - it is about 3-4 EURO per person and seat, but you won't need it traveling by direct day train outside of the peak times (Friday afternoon-evening. Sunday).
https://rail.cc/en/amsterdam-berlin-train/f2346

Berlin - Hamburg by direct day train. You have several connections (2 hours) with ICE trains which are also free of supplements - you only need your Eurail ticket. Use the schedule planer.

Hamburg-Copenhagen: as well by ICE train - free of supplements.

Copenhagen-Malmö: by Regional train over the big bridge (30 minutes) - free of supplements.

Malmö-Rinkaby: simply avoid the X2000 trains in Sweden which have a supplement of EUR 7 per person. Use free Regional or IC trains.
In Sweden (depends on your time) think about adding Stockholm, Göteborg or Oslo (Norway).

Hi.
No problem to ask - I can imagine that it is difficult to collect all the information you need for your travels living outside of Europe.
For the distances in time, use the schedule planer: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
If you want to know the kilometres you travel, use a website like: maps.google.com
Don't hesitate to ask if you have some more questions.

MALMÖ - RINKABY

TRAIN
Use regional trains and avoid the X2000 train on the route Malmö to Växjö.
Växjö is the closest railway station to Rinkaby.
Bus (line 241) to Rinkaby: it is ~ 10km. Price: SEK 30.

With an InterRail pass you travel for free using Regional/Öresund trains.
Full price tickets are available via the website of the Swedish railway company SJ: http://www.sj.se
It is easy to book online. The cheapest fares are SEK 180 which are ~ EUR 18.
Travel time is ~ 2 hours.

Train schedules: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

BUS
If you want to save money, use a mix of train and bus with change in Kristianstad C.
Train: Malmö C - Kristianstad C
Bus (line 551): Kristianstad C - Rinkaby
Full price: less than SEK 100
Travel time: 1:30h
