Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to use the Frecciarossa train if you own the InterRail Italy Pass. Can you use it by paying the 10€ booking fare, or cannot you use it at all? The Trenitalia website isn't at all clear on this.

Hi.

The Frecciarossa trains (it means red star) are the product category Eurostar Italia.
So you will have to pay the supplement of EUR 10.

Frecciarossa and Freciabianca are the Alta Velocita train category - the first running up to 300, the latter up to 250 km/h, depending on the route. ;)
Frecciabianca are Eurostar Italia.

A little complicated, but it's Italy... :D
