Could you please tell me if the trams (like the ones in the citys of amsterdam and paris) are included in the ir ticket?
If so, I was told that, in paris for exemple, you need a ticket to open the doors of the trams so, how would I do this?

Thanks... Cheers*

Hi.

Trams are not included - as InterRail is a ticket of the national railway companies of each country. And trams either belong to the cities or private companies.

Hi!

Some basic infos about Paris:

- A Carnet is currently 12€, it consists of 10 single tickets and usually is the best way for getting around during your stay. One ticket allows is for one trip, including changes when you are in the metro or RER. There are ticket barriers at metro and RER stations, when travelling with tram or bus there are no barriers, you enter and validate your ticket there.
- On weekends and public holidays you can get the Ticket Jeune Week-End for 3,40€ which allows unlimited travel on the whole network during one day.
