Hi!
I don't speak English very well so i apologize if there're too many horrible mistakes in my post. I'm thinking about my next summer(I know that i'm in advance but it'll be my first inter rail and i want to get it perfect)
One friend of mine and me are thinking about going into Eastern Europe.
We like to visit this cities and neighborhood in this order:
Kracow
Budapest
Bratislava
Brno
Prague
Norimberga
Francoforte
and then return to Italy
we have one month so i think we'll buy the continue global pass for a month. we'd like to have some advices about where to spend nights ( we'd like to have a private room for us even in hostels), to have dinner and about which night trains we could take to save money and time, if we travel at night we could have more time to spend in the city during the day! According to you how does it cost an inter rail like this?
with my global pass metro is free or i've to buy those tickets too?the last question: we've seen that in most of this cities there're museums cards, according to you we should buy them or it's better buy single ticket every time?
i hope to hearing from you as soon as possible!
bye cla :D

Hi Cla.

If you want to stay in private rooms, you have to calculate at least EUR 60 per day per person including food.
Check out this website to find some ideas about prices: [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux]

I recommend you to travel the following route.
You can find all details about the routes and night trains in the country topics:
https://rail.cc/en/countries

Italy - Budapest: either by direct night train (Venezia-Budapest) or via Ljubljana and Zagreb (definitely worth to stay as well):
https://rail.cc/en/venice-budapest-night-train/f1487
https://rail.cc/en/venice-ljubljana-train/f3664

Budapest - Bratislava - Brno (in between you can add Vienna if you like as it is only 1 hour away from Bratislava).
All this by day trains.

Brno - Krakow: by day train.

Krakow - Prague: you can do this by direct night train:
https://rail.cc/en/krakow-prague-night-train/f3847

Prague-Nürnberg: by direct day train.

Nürnberg-Frankfurt: by direct day train

Frankfurt-Italy: either from Frankfurt to Munich by direct day train and then by night train to Italy, or the whole trip by day trains via Basel and Milano.

The public transportation of a city (metro, buses) are not included in InterRail.
About museum cards I can not give you details.

Peter :)
