Hello.

I'm planing on a 1 month inter rail trip with 4 friends, 2 of them are coming from Brasil, we would like to make this route: Lisbon, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam;

I have a few doubts here:

1º - How many days can we stay in each city?
2º - 2 of my friends are from Rio de Janeiro, do they need a visa to visit each country? If not what kind of document do they need?
3º - Do the trains have rooms for us to sleep while we don't get into the city's?
4º - Since we going to visit 3 city's and we're going to travel for 1 month, can we stay 1 week in each city?

That's all for now :D

Hi.

First: as your friends are from Brazil, they will need EURAIL tickets instead of INTERRAIL tickets.
You as European resident can buy InterRail: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Your friends as Non-Europeans (and a stay less than 6 months in Europe) will need Eurail: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]

It is absolutely no problem to travel together even if you own InterRail and your friends Eurail.

1) As you just use normal trains, you can stay where ever you want as long as you want. InterRail is not a planed trip. InterRail is just a normal rail ticket and you plan your tour on your own.

2) I have no information about this as I am only a rail pass specialist. But I think they will need a Schengen Visa. Ask at an embassy.

3) There a night trains from some cities to others. Just check the country topics to find them:
https://rail.cc/en/countries
But they do not wait somewhere ...
You will have to book a hostel if you want to sleep somewhere or stay: [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux]

4) You can stay as long as you want in each city. If you want, add some more cities as you only selected the expensive ones.

Maybe as well interesting for you to read is this topic:
