Hi.

Looks good your route.
Just change Croatia-Vienna-Budapest to Croatia-Budapest-Vienna ... better to do by train in this order.

Difficult parts are only:

Paris-Rome:
The easiest way is by direct night train:
https://rail.cc/en/paris-florence-rome-night-train/f1453
You save the night in a hostel and the supplements for day trains (TGV and Eurostar Italia trains).

Italy:
Pay attention not to use the expensive Eurostar Italia trains (supplement: EUR 10 per train). If you want to save money use the slower IC trains (free of supplements).
Use the schedule planer and select the option without HST: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

Venice-Ljubljana:
https://rail.cc/en/venice-ljubljana-train/f3664

All the other connections should be possible without supplements. Check the country topics.

Vienna-Prague: simply avoid the SC trains, use the free OEC trains.

Peter :)

Man, you're fast! Thanks for the answer!

I'm sticking with Croatia-Vienna-Budapest because i've got a ride to vienna from Croatia. I imagine that the tough part would be this one, am I right?

Another question: my first train will be from Paris to Rome and this one needs reservation. But since it's the first one, i won't step on a train station until it's time to get it. How can I manage this?
