I just bought my ticket and followed the link to the route planer and got really confused about everything...what i really want to know is what's really included on the inter rail ticket and what they mean with global price and compulsory reservation! Can someone help? Is there a way to just select the free trains? Or at least the cheaper ones?

Thanks!

Hi.

The schedule planer isn't an InterRail schedule planer - it is just a normal schedule planer.
There exists no special InterRail schedule planer.

You have to do it this way:

1) Check the schedule planerhttps://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

2) Compare it to the supplements: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
3) Check the country topics for details about night trains or on how to avoid supplements: https://rail.cc/en/countries

Peter :)
