Hi.

Just use the schedule planer: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
And compare it to the supplements: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
As well check the country topics: https://rail.cc/en/countries

But you will see, you can not do this trip without any supplements.
Especially to leave Portugal, you will have to pay some extras:

Portugal-France:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/lisbon-hendaye-th-310/74

In France simply avoid the TGV trains (by using the schedule planer without HST or only regional trains):
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/tgv-sncf/42

From Toulouse to Paris you can think about a cheap night train (seat EUR 1,50):
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/france/fr

Paris in direction of Rotterdam (in the Netherlands and Belgium, avoid the expensive THALYS trains - use free IC trains):
https://rail.cc/en/train/paris-to-amsterdam

Amsterdam to Budapest is possible by first: free German ICE trains - Amsterdam to Frankfurt, to Munich or Vienna.
There change to the free Railjet trains to Budapest.

In Eastern Europe, you won't have to pay supplements for the most trains.

Back to Portugal via Slovenia to Venice: https://rail.cc/en/ljubljana-venice-train/f3663

Venice to Milano by free IC train (avoid the Eurostar Italia trains).

Milano - Nice - Marseilles: https://rail.cc/en/milan-nice-marseilles-train/f3857

Direction of the Spanish border: https://rail.cc/en/nice-marseilles-barcelona-train/f3420

Now you have to think about using again the night train from Irun in direction of Lisbon:
https://rail.cc/en/night-train/irun-lisbon-th-313/73

Or to travel to Barcelona, via Madrid (day train with supplement EUR 6,50-10) to Portugal:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail/madrid-to-lisbon

In the website of the schedule planer when we choose the option of without HST/ trains with subcharges we don't pay any subcharge,
:?: but we have to reserve our seat in some trains, and i will be able to reserve the seats in the station while i'm waiting for the train??? :?:

that would be much better and simple, cos regional trains are so slow in some connection in france... and if i can reserve those types of train in the station, would make my trip WAY MORE enjoyable...

Just the connection from toulouse to paris in regional trains take 21 hours... :'(

i'm leaving friday 13th... and this is my last question... i hope :D

please :os

Hi.

You have this free connection (depends what day of the week you travel):

Hendaye Dep: 0725 | Regional train - free of supplements
Dax Arr: 0839

Dax Dep: 0902 | Regional train - free of supplements
Pau Arr: 0959

Pau Dep: 1227 | Regional train - free of supplements
Toulouse-Matabiau Arr: 1512

The other connections use TGV trains and TEOZ trains (the one where you only see a number of 5 or 6 digits without any characters as description).
TGV supplement EUR 3-10
TEOZ: EUR 3
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/france/fr

You can buy them already in Spain - I am not sure if you will get these reservations in France as the trains (at least the TGVs) are easily full. For the TEOZ trains you won't have a problem to get it.
Concerning TGV you can do it the unofficial way and pick your reservation up at a ticket machine:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/tgv-sncf/42

Yes you can - but I am sure you won't get a seat anymore with the InterRail reduction. :o

i'm not talking about tvg, i will just travel in train without subcharges, but in some trains it says i have to reserve, and i will reserve it in the station the day before...

Okay...

TGV (but you don't use them) will be hard to get a seat.
TEOZ trains (the other ones) will be easy to get a seat, even at the station directly.
The other trains (R - Regional trains) are free of supplements.

The connection mentioned above with the 3 regional trains is slow but nice - as you have a break in Pau - nice place for a stop. :)

that connection you say takes 14 hours, and if i can make it in 4 hours is better cos i will need rest in toulouse, i have a friends there to host me... and after a night without sleep i will need to get there the faster i can...

but my bigger fear is about the train i have to reserve, cos if i can't reserve them in the station i will take so many time in regional trains and i don't like the idea of sleeping in a train... :|
