Hi! I'm thinking about a small trip like this with a 5-travelling-days-in-10-days-interrail-pass. I'm travelling alone in the middle of august. I don't think I can do more than a week.
saturday 14.: Oslo-Copenhagen, Copenhagen-Amsterdam at night (2 travel days)
sunday: Amsterdam
monday: Amsterdam
tuesday: Amsterdam-Brussels
wednesday: Brussels-Paris*
thursday: Paris
friday: Paris
saturday: Paris-Oslo by plane (from Orly)
*) I may use one more day in Belgium, instead of Paris (or Amsterdam). With this plan I have one travel day left, perhaps I can use it in Belgium, or perhaps I should use it to get to the airport in Paris...?
I will live as cheap as possible, and sleep in hostels, hopefully there will be room for me. ;)
Is there anything special I should have in mind for this trip? Would you perhaps recommend other places along the route?:) Thanks!

Hi.
A nice short trip.
Oslo-Amsterdam: https://rail.cc/en/oslo-amsterdam/f4799
Keep in mind that you can not travel for free in your country of residence (Norway?) - you will get a discounted ticket until the border of Sweden:

In Benelux, simply avoid the THALYS trains if you want to save money, as they have expensive supplements.
In Belgium maybe add Brugges or as well then Luxembourg - also nice for a day traip (and keep your hostel in Bruxelles).
In general, book at least one night in advance, so you know the place you have to go in the new city - and you save a lot of time: [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux]
Examples to avoid the Thalys trains:

Bruxelles-Paris: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/thalys/41
Paris centre to the airport: use a normal train ticket, as with InterRail you need a special one which you get at a ticket window. Read here:
