Is there any supplement to pay on the journey Turku satama - Helsinki?
Can I use my interrail pass on Helsinki suburban rail?

Cheers,

Roberto

Hi.

Turku - Helsinki is free: https://rail.cc/en/train/turku-to-helsinki

The station Turku satama/Abo hamn is the harbour station - direct in front of the ferry terminal. You can't miss it:
https://rail.cc/en/turku/turku-harbour/l407

If you miss the train (but it is always connected to the arriving ferries), you can use a bus to the main station. Don't walk, it is definitely too fare.

In Helsinki you will have to pay for the public transport of the city: www.hel.fi

Hi!

Does this public transport Turku - Helsinki going after 20:00h (maybe 20:30h) or earlier in the morning about 06:00h?

Thanks

Hi.
On the Website www.vr.fi is a information, that InterCity2 train from Turku sadama to Helsinki cost 29€/adult.
Is that true?

Someone wrote, that this train is free? Isn't it?

thanks

Hi!

This is the regular price for a standard ticket. If you have an InterRail ticket you can use this train for free - no additional reservation required.

PS: BTW, the difference between InterCity and InterCity 2 is the rolling stock - IC2 services use double-deck coaches.

Hey

I'll update a bit.

The Helsinki region transportation has mowed to a new site www.hsl.fi/en. From there you can find all the information needed when travelling in Helsinki.

I would suggest that if you spend at least few days in the Helsinki region, buy a day ticket when you arrive. Information is here http://www.hsl.fi/EN/ticketsandfares/singleticketsanddaytickets/Pages/default.aspx.
