I'm going on Interrail next week, and I've been trying to figure this out myself, but I think I've got it wrong.
- I need help with trains from Berlin to Pisa around the 11-12 aug. =)

Hi.

The most relaxing connection using a night train:

Berlin Hbf Dep: 1458 | ICE train - free of supplements
München Hbf Arr: 2050 | if you do not want to miss the night train take an ICE on hour earlier

München Hbf Dep: 2103 | CNL night train (you can book the reservation online): https://rail.cc/en/munich-rome-night-train/f2872
Firenze S.M.N. Arr: 0618

Firenze S.M.N. Dep: 0637 | Regional train - free of supplements
Pisa Centrale Arr: 0759

As you did not mentioned if you travel on an Flexible InterRail Pass (xx days within yy days) I selected the connection mentioned above.
And I do not know your country of residence - but just wanted to add that you can not travel for free in it.

More connections available here: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
In Italy avoid the ES (Eurostar Italia trains with supplement EUR 10) - use the free IC trains. Simply select without HST at the schedule planer if you search for Italy.

well I'm from Denmark, so that should be fine.. we've bought the 15days global pass...
thanks!!!
do you think it's possible to just show up at the station and get a night train or is it necessary to book in advance, we'd like to keep our schedule open...!

Mmmh... in the middle of August this train easily gets full - maybe you have luck.

There is an other option by day trains (with a lot of changes but no supplements):

Berlin Hbf Dep: 0608
Frankfurt(Main)Hbf Arr: 0942

Frankfurt(Main)Hbf Dep: 1005
Basel SBB Arr: 1255

Basel SBB Dep: 1301
Bern Arr: 1356

Bern Dep: 1407
Brig Arr: 1511

Brig Dep: 1544 (maybe you need a supplement for this train, but I don't think so. If there is a supplement, then between EUR 3-5)
Milano Centrale Arr: 1735

Milano Centrale Dep: 1800
Pisa Centrale Arr 2224
