Hello,

We plan to travel from Stuttgart to Klagenfurt on the 4th of August with an EC train. On the webpage railcc it says that the EC trains do not require any supplements or reservations, and we would be very grateful if somebody could confirm that. We would just like to reserve a seat because we are worried that the train might be full, if that is possible.

Thank you very much for your help!

Hi Spela and Miha.

EC trains are free of supplements.
If you want to buy a reservation (usually you will get a seat without a reservation - but for such a long travel, it might be more comfortable with res), do it at a ticket machine in a German railway station. It is cheaper than at a ticket window.
The reservation should be between 3-4 EUR.

Peter :)
