Hi everybody!
I guess you already answered this question before but I can't find out where so I ask!!
With the Interrail Pass ( 5d within 10d), when we are at the train station, can we just sit in a train and go or do we have to book a ticket for the train we want to jump in? (we re talking about train with no supplements)
For example, we plan to travel from Bruxelles to Am'dam on the 4th of August, so we will take the IC9209 at 08.13am. Do we have to go to a company desk to inform we will take it?
Another question, with the European timetable, what is the differnce between checking no trains with surcharge or selecting
Products
Whole journey
without HST/trains with surcharge
when I select the first one, I can see IC trains with no stop between 2 cities ( wich is good) and when i select the second one there's no IC trains and I have to stop 4 time between 2 cities ( Bruxelles - Am'dam for example) ??
Thanks for all
Peter

Hi.
If a train is without a supplement, just jump in the train and sit down. Very easy.
If the train requires a supplement, you have to buy it in advance: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
Concerning the schedule planer: it is no special InterRail schedule planer - it is a general one. The options will help you planing your trip.
Always do it this way to find the perfect trains:
A: Check the schedule planerhttps://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
B: Compare it to the supplements section: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
C: Check the country topics for night trains and supplement free alternatives: https://rail.cc/en/countries
