Hey everybody,
I have some questions about buying the ticket.
I've wanted to buy it and saw, that i have to give the passport number. The problem is, that I don't have a passport at the moment, because my passport has expired. I've already ordered a new one, but I don't get it before friday and that's too late for buying the ticket.
Do you have any idea to do that?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Marlene.
You can order it as well with your ID-Card (Personalausweis) and the ID-card number: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
Then have it with you.
An additional passport (Reisepass) is only necessary if you travel to countries for which you need one ... I think Serbia... mmmh ?!? ;)
I always travel with passport so that I don't have them in my mind... but I would say 90% of the countries are accessible with ID-card.
Have a sunny trip, Peter :)

There seems to be someone illegally on German streets?!? ;)
Then you have to wait until you get your new passport or ID-card - as you definitely need the number on the ticket. And the passport or ID-card has to be a valid one.
You can ask at a station and buy it there - but then you simply support an anonymous company.
It depends on when you need the ticket exactly. Delivery to German is usually within 48 hours on business days. I got the last one I ordered at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] within 28 hours (and yes, I have to pay as well for tickets)... :)

If I would live in Germany, I think that would be illegal. But I live in Austria, so that is ok, because we don't have proof of ID :)
I don't want to support an anonymous company. That is why I want to buy it at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] . But if delivery in Austria takes too long, I can't avoid this.
You said delivery in Germany is usually within 48 hours on business days. Do you know how long it takes in Austria?
