Hey, i saw the post here about this night train. However, as i'm using a flexi pass and as i see there is a change ... if i chose to travel via this connection do i lose 2 or 1 day ? Is there any other way to travel by night directly from vienna to Krakow and still spend 1 day on a flexi pass ? Thanks

Hi.

Using this night train there is no change:

With the rule of 1900h for night trains you will need only ONE travel day.

Hi : )
we are group of 5 people (under 26) and we want to travel from Vienna to Krakow with the night train on the evening of 12 July 2012. No one of us have any rail-passes and I can't find the fares for the train without having any passes. On the official site of Austrian Railway company - OBB is written that tickets start from 39 euros but no further information. Where can I find the prices, any fees and book the tickets ?

Hi,

regular fare is 63,40€. Sparschiene advance fare tickets are available only at ÖBB stations.
If you get regular tickets you need an extra reservation for the couchette or sleeper, prices are here :arr: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/vienna-krakow-d-406/403/69
