Hallo Flow and thanx for your tipps. Definitely we were too ambitious but i think that,s a common error for the beginners ;) With help of some friends and relatives (mom,s, dad,s and other,s) we have changed our mind. Now we will travell in our 22 days trip using a 10 days travel ticket just Slovenia-Croatia-Bosnia-Serbia??-Hungary-Austria may be. I show you on detail our travel journey. There are two options, which do you think is better?
OPTION 1
1 Day: landing 09:15 in Milan Malpensa ITALY. Milano Centrale 23.20 - Gorizia Centrale (Italy) - BUS - Nova Gorica (Slovenia) - SLOVENIA (Ljubljana)
2. day: Ljubljana-Zagreb
3. Day: Zagreb-Rijeka Something to do there or better somethingelse to do??
4. day: Rijeka-islands??? Could you tell me how to get there and which is the better option???
5. day: Islands-Split
6. day: Split-Dubroknic really a must be or too touristic???
7. day: Sarajevo-Budapest
8. day: Budapest- Please some tips to visit?????
9. day: Budapest
10. day: Budapest-Milan
Well, the point is wether to go to Bosnia- Serbia or rather leave it and travel directly from Split direct to Budapest because i believe the conections between Croatia and Bosnia are not that good... In this way we would have more time to enjoy Hungary which is together with Slowenia and Croacia our main interests.... I would apreciate some tips to do in these three countries, which are must be done and if posible included in the interrail ticket!!
OPTION 2
The other trip would be Austria- Hungary- Croatia- Slowenia which is may better...
1. to 4. day: Milan- Austria tips please for the trip including hightlights Salzburg-Wien and landscape trains???
5-7. day. Hungary please some tipps to do there??
7-10 day Zagreb-Split
10 Split- Lubjana-
12 Lubjana-Milano.
THE POINT IS TO KNOW THE GOOD THINGS TO DO IN EACH COUNTRY AND WETHER TO BUY THE 22 TICKET TRIP OR THE 10 DAY TICKET as we have 22 days vacation but we do not whant to travel every day???
Thanks a lot

Hi.
I would go for option (1) with some small changes.
Milano-Ljubljana: https://rail.cc/en/venice-ljubljana-train/f3664
Then the direct way Ljubljana-Rijeka: https://rail.cc/en/ljubljana-rijeka-train/f4350
Check the islands of Cres and Krk ... you easily reach them by bus or ferry. No problem. And cheap as well! :)
Then continue by bus along the coast to Split.
Dubrovnik: I like it - and yes, a lot of tourists there - you reach it by bus from Split.
Split-Zagreb: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/zagreb-split-b821/129
In your case, skip the trip to Sarajevo as you will have to use buses. It is definitely possible and if you search the forum you will find information - but better to have some more days in Budapest. If you like, add Vienna (which is very close).
I hope this will help you planing your trip - and I recommend to stay in samller hostels with nice staff - they always know the best places to see, the best pubs and bars. :)
Check it at [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux] for example.
Peter :)

I dont think I can add much more to what Peter said - if you do end up going to Bosnia you will be able to get away with a 10 in 22 pass as some of you journeys will be by bus. Other than that, read the forums, search the internet, there are loads of great resources out there. I would recomend one of the baths in Budapest, but there is so much to see you wont have a problem filling a couple of days

Yeah, I'd say too definitely stick with the 10in22. Especially if you make use of the 1900-rule https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train sometimes you will be fine and can save some money.
