Hey guys!
There's just one week left until I'm going to start my interrail trip.

My question:
I want to sleep in hostels and trains only so, I won't take a tent.
Would you recommend, to take a sleeping bag with me?
Do I need one in night trains for example?
Or would it be enough to take usual duvet covers like i use at home?

Thanks!

Hi!

If you dont go camping you wont need a thick sleeping bag. Either use your duvet cover or (like I do) take a small, lightweight summer-sleepingbag with you. That's pretty nice especially on night trains if there is an air-condition as it can get quite cold during the night then.
In hostels linen is included usually and most hostels dont like it if you use your own linen or sleeping bag. However, there are still some hostels where you'd have to pay for linen - sometimes you can then use your own (if you have one with you) but sometimes you have to take the linen offered by the hostel..
