Hey everyone,
we're three guys from London, UK. We're leaving London to fly to Amsterdam on the 23rd August, spending 4 nights there. Then our interrail pass commences. Our route is planned as..
[Amsterdam] - Berlin - Krakow - Vienna/any convenient stop between Krakow and Venice - Venice - Rome - Florence - Northern Italy/Southern France - [Barcelona]
Similar to Amsterdam, our interrail pass ends as we arrive in Barcelona, we'd spend 3 nights there and fly back to Britain on the 20th September.
We're really struggling with planning - specifically overnight trains and taking that into account when planning. Any help really appreciated both on the route planned and the train timetabling aspect of the planning.
Thanks for any help given,
Cadgey

Hi!
I think your basic questions will be answered here: https://rail.cc/en/first-interrail-tour/f3303 :)
If you then have more questions just ask.

Hi flo, thanks for the quick reply
With regards to the overnight trains, which information is more reliable;
1. https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
or 2. each individual country on this board?

Hi.
We keep the information here at the forum always up to date - it isn't only fun this project, it is hard work! :)
Sometimes the times of night trains might change for some minutes, but not a lot. So it is recommended to chek the country topics for details like the supplements and then check the train schedules (1) to be 150% safe. ;)

Hi Peter,
Yeah i cant imagine the amount of work it takes to keep things up to date!
so if the two pages disagree, i should listen to the forum pages?

Usually the timings at the forum pages are correct, but we cant check everyday if there have been changes (and if so, they are minor mostly). So, I'd always check with the schedule planner before you leave.
