Hi, my plan for one month interrailing is:
lisbon - madrid - malaga - valencia - barcelona - marseille - nice - monaco - milano(only change train) - interlaken - berlin - munich - venezia - firenze - roma - pompei - ferry from bari to patras.
i'll take 4 night trains form: lisbon to madrid, basel or zurich to berlin, berlin to munich, munich to venize
is it not to much?
what places are not worth to visit?
what about small towns in Côte d'Azur like: cannes, antibes, st. raphael, st. tropez? which are the best to visit?

Hi.
I recommend you to stay in Nice (Southern France) and from there to have day trips to the other cities like Cannes, etc...

Concerning your route. You have selected a lot of expensive cities.
Think about Berlin-Prague-Krakow-Budapest-Zagreb-Ljubljana-Venice in between.
