Hi all,
i decided to start my first IR's trip, but unfortunatelly not found anyone, who would go with me (I am actually not so evil :D ) so i'll go alone for scandinavia and (depending on money) baltic countries. But the problem is with my birthday date, because it's 21 september (18 years ago) and formally i'm still a minor (17 years and 10 months). Will I have any troubles with stayn' at hostels or campsites? I got a tent with me, so eventually i can take local train and go wild camping, but can't do it all the time (20 days without shower? :D ), you know what I mean.

Cities, where I will stay is are described here: https://rail.cc/en/copenhagen-malmo-oslo-bergen-lofoten-stockholm-helsinki/f4793

Next question is with money. There are some, different currencies in states I want to visit. What's the best way to manage them (i got my debit card and can cashout in ATM), but i can't ever aproximate how much i need?

Any special recommendations for north countries?

love,
Chris.

Hi Chris.

Hostels often do not accept minors - maybe you can join some other travelers then as a group.
I also use ATMs during my trip - it is the easiest way.

Calculate like this:
PER DAY:
- accommodation EUR 25
- food EUR 5
- extras: EUR 5
TOTAL per DAY: EUR 35-40

40 EUR x 20 days = ~ EUR 600

Peter :)
