Hi guys,
as i yesterday had problems to get a reservation for a TGV from Lille to Strasbourg (apparently the italian train company can't get reservations for exactly that train i wanted), i now am searching a new way to travel from Calais to Strasbourg (we stay some days at Calais)
Is there a possibility to use the Eurostar from Calais to Paris with the Interrail Global Pass? I think i've read somewhere that you only have to pay a small fee for the reservation if you don't travel trough the tunnel (only between Calais and Paris/Brussel), but can't find the page any more.
I know we could use another TGV, but if its possible i would prefer the Eurostar as i've seen its really fast :)
Thanks in advance, i'm happy for every advice :)

Hi Andy.
As much as I know you pay the full supplement.
Just use free Regional trains, for example:
Calais Ville Dep: 1240
Amiens Arr: 1452
Amiens Dep: 1459
Paris Nord Arr: 1620

Hm...I dont know, but I think you can use the Eurostar on Bruxelles - Lille and only pay regular TGV supplement. Maybe that is also the case for Calais - Paris? Anyway, you have alternatives using regional trains via Amiens like Peter or can also go to Lille and then take a TGV to Paris.

Sry i was a bit busy the last days. Thanks for your answers.
In the meantime i found again what i've had read about paying only a small fee. It's like flow said, the TGV fare between Bruxelles - Lille but how does it is between Calais and Paris i still don't know.
For now we've decided to buy the reservation at the ÖBB, because they (strangely) are able to do it and only the trenitalia not. So i'll take the same train and my problem therefore is solved :)
Thanks again for your help.
