I'm going interrailing for the first time with my friend, and we have planned a route.
Oslo - Hamburg - Brussel - Paris - Bern - Milano - Rome - Vienna - Prague - Berlin - Copenhagen
got some questions about the route:
thinking of buying a full month travellpass, but not sure if I need all of it?
and is it realistic to have an budget of 2000 Euro each, all inc. we are looking to pre-book all our hostel stays on hostel world, but it would be nice with some hostel advice, and some general advice for first timers.

Hi!
First, read here about all basic questions: https://rail.cc/en/first-interrail-tour/f3303
If you dont think you'll travel a month, think about getting the 10in22 global pass. With a little careful planning you should be just fine with the ten travel days. But it depends on where your from and how you want to leave and get back home.
I guess 2000€ is the very maximum you'll need especially when not travelling a full month - pass plus reservations may result in ~500€ (depending on which pass you choose and what kind of accomodation you want when travelling on night trains). For hostels, food etc, I'd calculate between 30 and 50€, 50€ being quite a high average. :)
Hostels...check at [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux] , they have lots of reviews. Some personal recommendations: Berlin and Wien: Wombats; Paris: St Christophers
