Hi guys!
I'm about to book my flight home for the end of my inter railing experience in October, I'm booking through ryanair, and they charge an extra £15 for luggage weighing up to 15 kilos, my question is, would it be worth bringing 15 kilos worth of clothes etc for 22 days of travel?I dont intend on bringing any cooking utensils, just clothes. I need help on this because I don't fancy giving ryanair an extra £15 if I really do not have to, I could never get away with bringing a backpack on as a handbag could I?
Many Thanks folks
Emmet!

Well...I think Ryanair allows ~8 kilos cabin luggage or so? Try to pack what you think is absolutely essential for your trip and you'll see how much it weighs.

Ryanair allows 10 kilos max for the hand bag, just put all your clothes on yourself while on a plane ;)
or...if you're flying home you can post some stuff by mail, it's cheaper then Ryanair....

Hi.
Just put some bottles with water in your backpack - so that you have 15 kilos. Then walk 2 kilometres. And you will see if it is too much for you or not ...

thanks guys, so you guys think I shouldn't pay for the luggage then, and just try and work around it?

Well...in the end it's you who decides. ;)
- Can you fit all luggage you need into a smaller bag that goes along with Ryanair cabin luggage restrictions? Then go for it!
- Or if you think you need more stuff for your trip, go with a larger bag, even though you have to pay extra. :)

well I couldn't see myself bringing 15 kilos worth of clothes though. thats 2.3 stone! if the cabin luggage maxium is 10 kilos i think i could fit all my clothes within the ten kilos!
