Hey!
I want to go from Denmark to Germany with the CNL.
I have booked a interrail reservation ticket from my city in Denmark to the city I want to go to in Germany and a discounted ticket from my city to the german border. I'm bordering the CNL in Denmark with the Interrail reservation ticket. Is that okay?
Kind regards
:)

Hi!
I assume you are travelling with a Danish InterRail ticket? And that you are talking about the Kobenhavn - Amsterdam/Basel/München CNL train? In that case you would need a ticket until Flensburg, the first stop in Germany. :)

Hey Flow!
Thx for the reply, but that wasn't what I meant. Maybe it was badly written by me.
- Can I make an INTERRAIL SEAT RESERVATION on the CNL from COPENHAGEN to KARLSRUHE?
I mean if my Interrail Globas Pass doesnt't work in Denmark how can I make an interrail reservation? I get that I need a ticket from COPENHAGEN to FLENSBURG but in my mind I can only make an INTERRAIL SEAT RESERVATION when it enters GERMANY because here my IGP works?

Hi,
you will need a reservation covering the whole journey with CNL. In your case then Kobenhavn - Karlsruhe. It is possible online - as departure and/or arrival station have to be in Germany.
Hope all's clear now. :)

Hey flow : -)
I think you are answering my question but just not as clear as I want :)
Let me try again:
- The Interrail Global Pass doesn't work in the country of residence.
- Therefore I'll buy a normal ticket from Copenhagen to the German Border.
--- With this ticket I can take a normal danish train and get to germany with no problems, I'll get that.
BUT I want to take the CNL so I'll order a Interrail reservation ticket from copenhagen to Karlsruhe too. But my problem is:
Isn't my reservation from Copenhagen to the german border on the CNL Illegal, because my IGP doesn't work in DENMARK (my COR) and therefore I can't use an Interrail reservation ticket, but has to buy a FULL PRICE ticket for the CNL?
Kind regards,
Rasmus :)

Hi Rasmus!
Usually ticket and reservation are two separate things. The CNL is for passengers making international journeys only, I think it wont be a problem to get the DSB ticket to Flensburg and then continue with InterRail pass. The reservation for your journey can be Kobenhavn - Karlsruhe, that isnt a problem.
Best thing is to check locally at a DSB station, but usually it should work this way.
