Hey everyone,
I'm just planning my first Interrail-trip. I never did such a thing... Never trevelled alone thru a country. The most similar thing I experienced to a trip like this is the Rock am Ring festival oder the Hurricane Festival. But actually it's completly different.
Anyways.. I don't have a big budget. 1000 Euro (without the ticket) for 22 or 30 days. I know it's not much and of course I have at least the same amount as a reserve. But I want to try to spend as less as possible.
Sleeping everyday at an hostel could be a bit too expensive. So i thought I could buy me a tent and sleep outside some tiny village. I read about it here in the forum and read only good things about it. But how big is the risk if I'm alone? I'm (only) years old and not really the fighter. So if some jerk decides to get on me I'm pretty much helpless. What about pepper-spray?
In a small village outside of a big city like madrid, is there a chance I'll find some friendly farmer or something like this, who'll let me camp in his yard for 5 euro or so?
+ Does anyone have a tipp for a good but cheap one-man tent? Something easy to build...
Thanks a lot!

Hi.
Pepper spray is not allowed in every country - i do not know the exact rules for every country - but entering the UK I had a big problem at the custom last year treated like a criminal.
Don't count on farmers - if they are nice you can camp for free ...
The best is to find a place away from everything - somewhere in nature ...
I personally never had problems ... but maybe I am only a lucky person?!?
And don't spent too much money for the tent - most important thing is light weight.
