Hi :D :D

We are a group of 4 girls wanting to do the route Krakow- czech republlic- austria- croatia- italy- slovania- france- germany. Just wondering what trains are best to get to avoid as many supplements as possible, any cites or sites which are a must see. We get to krakow on the 14th and plan on flying home from germany on the 7th of august.
Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks :D xxx

Hi.

Think about this route:

Krakow - Prague - Vienna - Budapest - Zagreb - Split - buy bus to Rijeka along the Croatian coast (it's cheap) - Ljubljana - Venice - Florence/Rome - Nice - Paris - Amsterdam - Berlin

Maybe skip the one, two or three cities... but if this fits your needs, I can give you some more details.

Check as well the country topics of our forum with a lot of details to connections, night trains and how to avoid supplements:
https://rail.cc/en/countries

Train schedules are here (read carefully to see how to avoid train with supplements):
https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

Supplements are listed here:
https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation

On the biggest part of your tour, the trains are free of supplements. Except Italy (but you can find here always free but slower connections) and France (sometimes a bit hard, but possible).

Peter :)
