Paying the rest of the money to the hostels when we arrive?

Hi,
Apologies if this is me being a bit silly but I'm trying to iron out all the finer details of our trip before we leave in a few weeks. Basically about 3 members of our group have paid the deposit for the hostels using their cards. When we arrive at the hostels, are we expected to pay the rest using the card we booked with?

Sorry if that's a stupid question but I don't want to get to a hostel and find that suddenly we all have to withdraw large amounts of cash or vis versa and have to find a bank to deposit money into the account.

The booking confirmation emails don't specify which method.
