hi,
i was wondering which of the ferries is more beautiful/relaxing.
on our way to london we will be using the ferry calais-dover, so maybe harwich-hoek van holland is also worth seeing? we like to travel with ferries, so the 7 hour journey isn't a problem.
also we would like to avoid tgv, so if we use dover-calais, we might end up with a rather long journey calais-amsterdam (about 6 hours, does that seem right?).
so far i'm favoring harwich-hoek van holland, maybe someone has taken one or both of them and can share their experience with me.
greetings,

Hi.
I recommend you the one Hoek van Holland to Harwich. As it is a longer journey...
And less stressful ... you have good connections and no high-speed-trains crossing your way.
The ferry departure is directly in front of the small station called Hoek van Holland Haven.
