Hi,
Im planning on bringing my Ulster bank Visa debit card interrailing to make all cash withdrawals..
does anyone know about their charges abroad and if it can be used all over Europe?
Also can it be used in the non-Euro zone? (we are going to be in countries such as Hungary and Poland).
Is it better to take out foreign currency from the bank before departure? Or to withdraw from an ATM in that country?
Thanks in advance. :D

Hi.
The best is to ask directly at the bank - they know best their services. :)
In general: I always use a VISA card to withdraw money from ATMs, also in non-Euro-countries. Never had any problems.
