Hey guys another question :) I am travelliong to croatia for part of my trip and plan on spending a few days in plitvice national park camping.

Now i have the times for the train to Zagreb and have the bus times and platform etc for the bus to Plitvice Jezera...

But i am having trouble finding out how i am meant to get to Kamp Korana (the campsite 6km from entrance 2 of the national park) from plitvice jezera.
I dont fancy walking 6km with my tent and backpack :)

has anyone done this journey before and have any details or information? thanks in advance

Hi Ben!

Unfortunately I cant help out with details on how to get to the campsite. :| But I think they will be able to help you directly at the national park. :)

PS: We had to walk ~11 kilometres in the Pyrennees last year to get to the next station... Nobody wanted to give two shabby InterRailers a ride. :D

Hi,

What is the best way to get to Plitvice using interrail? Where is the closest stop/how long does bus take etc.

Thanks :D

Hi.

Take a train to the station called Vrhovi-Plitvi Jezera. Easy to reach coming for example from Zagreb.

Then continue by bus to Plitvice. The fare is about EUR 10 one-way.

If you want to visit the park, have a look at this link:
