Night trains operating every day ?

1) use the schedule planer to find out the exact travel times (and days and everything you need to know):

Okey. So I guess the night trains aren't operating every day if they aren't shown on these european timetables on a particular day. That makes our trip harder :( I thought there would be a night train for every day. Or at least every other day. I have to rethink our trip plan. Actually, the problem is that we are going from Vienna to Venice on 21.7. with a night train, but the route planner says we have to change to another night train during the journey. That is ok, as long as we can mark only the 22.7. for a travelling day? We are changing the train at 1 am so is there a problem with the night train rule?

A bigger problem will be confronting us on 25.7. We would like to go with a night train from Nice to Barcelona, but there aren't any night train connections. We had also another plan: to take an early morning train (dep. in Nice at 06.05 am on 26.7.) and arrive in Barcelona at 18.39 p.m. But the route planner doesn't show this kind of connections, either. Do we really have to travel the whole day (from. 9.33 am to 20.30 pm)? We can only use one travelling day for this route between Nice and Barcelona but it would be sad to spend the whole day in train. Thanks a lot for your answers!

Nice - Barcelona: There are no direct night trains running on this route - check on daytime alternatives here: [u]https://rail.cc/en/nice-marseilles-barcelona-train/f3420[/u]

And some general words concerning night trains: Most trains usually run daily throughout the year - if you have difficulties finding them in the schedule planner, use the checkbox direct connections. And if you are not sure whether a night train runs on a specific route or date you can always ask here. ;)

Okey, then I would like to ask about the connection between Nice and Barcelona. Is there a night train from Nice to Toulouse-Matabiau on 25.7.? The train should leave for Nice at 20.57 and arrive in Toulouse-Matabiau at 05.15. (on 26.7.). If the train is operating on that night, is there a possibility to make a reservation via internet or should we wait until we are in Nice? Also, are the two other trains (from Toulouse to Narbonne and from Narbonne to Barcelona) operating on 26.7.? Thanks very much, again :)

Can you say, if the day connections (shown on the same page with the night connections) from Nice ville to Barcelona are operating? For Example the connection D (via Marseille St Charles, Avignon, Nimes and Port Bou)?
