Hey there,
Me and a friend will be interrailling in august (15 days) and would like to hear your comments / feedback about our route, and if you happen to have some tips, we'd be very thankful!

Zagreb- Ljubljana
Ljubljana-Maribor
Maribor-Budapest
Budapest-Bratislava
Bratislava-Brno
Brno-Prague
Prague-Krakow (night train)
Krakow- Warsow
Warsow- Berlin (night train)

Does that make sense? We're a bit confused about the train reservation, etc... Night trains have to be reserved in advanced, right?

Well, I'll continue interrailling for another week through germany and my plan is:

Berlin -Hamburg
Hamburg- Lübeck
Lübeck- Kiel
Kiel- Bremen
Bremen- Hannover
Hannover- Dortmund
Dortmund- Frankfurt
Frankfurt- Heidelberg
Heidelberg- Stuttgart

Any suggestions?

Thanks bunches!

Hi.

The first part is really nice and in the right order. :)

For most trains you won't need a supplement.

Prague-Krakow: spent the money for a couchette where you can look the door.

Warszawa-Berlin: https://rail.cc/en/warsaw-warszawa-berlin-train/f3964

Part 2 of your trip:
Germany is a perfect country for InterRailers, as night trains are very comfortable and cheap and high speed trains without supplements.

Just some personal thoughts:
- skip Dortmund, add Cologne or Düsseldorf
- maybe add Freiburg at the end of your tour

Peter :)
