We have planned to travel from Bari to Dubrovnik in the middle of July this summer. Does anyone know what is cheapest: To book on the internet before we go, or to buy the tickets in Bari? Is it possible that the tickets will be sold out?

Hi.

You are talking about this connection:

I only can give you the information: either try to get the reservation/ticket online directly on the website of the ferry company or at their office at the harbour. There are agencies available selling ferry tickets but often they have high extra fees on the tickets.

Btw: Do you know what deck tickets mean (the cheapest tickets)? Is it inside or outside deck? Does it include seats?

Does anyone know the standard of these ferries?

Hi.

Deck means: you just sit outside somewhere on deck. On the floor or some seats - wherever you find a space. Often you can find as well a place inside the ship...
But no fixed seats or beds or something.
You can usually just lay down somewhere outside with your sleeping bag and watch the stars. :)
