UPDATE - NEW TOPIC for rail travel MUNICH to PRAGUE:

https://rail.cc/en/munich-prague-train/f5108

Hey folks,

I'm still in the planning stages of my trip for September. I was originally going to do Berlin-Prague-Munich-Vienna but there doesn't seem to be Prague to Munich trains, so I was wondering if I swapped Prague and Munich around and did Berlin-Munich-Prague-Vienna, was there any trains from Munich to Prague?

Many Thanks :)

Emmet

Hi!

Praha - München:

dep: 0504 | 0904 | 1304 | 1704
arr: 1106/1115 (x) | 1502 | 1905/1915 (x) | 2306

(x) change at either Schwandorf or Nürnberg - the faster connection runs via Nürnberg, however it might be more comfortable to go with the Schwandorf train as you might find more space (no guarantee ;) ).

München - Praha:

dep: 0448/0455 (x) | 0901 | 1255 (y) | 1702

(x) change at either Regensburg and Schwandorf or Nürnberg - the faster connection runs via Regensburg and Schwandorf
(y) change at Nürnberg

There are other services as well which require more changing of trains and also take more time - you should be able to find all details with the help of the schedule planner: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

Hi.
Auschwitz is close to Krakow (Poland) - you can visit it on your way from Prague to Krakow (leave the night train before arriving in Krakow).
Very close to Munich you have the KZ Dachau.
