I have heard of the problems to do with TGV interrail reservations. If i am travelling from Interlaken to Paris would i be able to buy a reservation for the TGV Lyria part of this journey in Berlin almost 2 weeks prior and be guaranteed 2 seats?

Hi!

No problem to make those reservations in Berlin - best is to go to Hauptbahnhof or Ostbahnhof stations. If there are still seats available (what should be the case 2 weeks before departure) you can make your reservations there. :)

EDIT: Just to mention: There are no direct TGV Lyria services to/from Interlaken; only from/to Geneve, Lausanne, Neuchatel, Bern, Zürich, Basel. ;)

Hi.

An option without supplements is this one (more available using the schedule planer):

Interlaken Ost Dep: 0901 | free IC train
Basel SBB Arr: 1055

Basel SBB Dep: 1143 | free Regional train
Mulhouse Ville Arr: 1219

Mulhouse Ville Dep: 1246 | free Fast train
Paris Est Arr: 1715

Interesting to read concerning the limited seats on TGV trains:
