I think I know the answer to this question but I just want to make sure anyway. I live in the USA with a student visa for 5 years with a Turkish passport. I think I am eligible for eurorail but not interrail. I want to get your opinion about the issue. This is weird, three years ago I did not know this and just bought interrail and traveled without any problems :) I guess the right thing is to buy eurorail, right?

Hi!

In my opinion you have to go with Eurail. I assume the residency permit is fixed to your passport so I wouldnt recommend to try the InterRail option as the passport might be checked by some train inspectors.

Wow, thank you for the prompt answer. The thing that bothers me is that I am considered as non-resident alien as every foreign student living in USA and there is no address or residency related field on my passport. There is just my USA student visa and my I-20 that proves that I am a student at USA.

Umm...isnt there anything written on the Visa itself regarding the duration and date of your state in the US?

Technically you should get Eurail anyway (since you've been living abroad for more than six months) but if you say that it worked fine some years ago... :|

Yes the duration, dates, and my status is written on the visa except any address or residency stamp. Thank you for all the clarifications.
